ENGIE’s businesses in Egypt
ENGIE is today the leading operator in independent energy production (IPP) in renewable energies in Egypt (wind power) contributing to the Egyptian government’s objective of reaching 20% of renewable energies in the energy mix by 2020.
ENGIE is constructing the Ras Ghareb Wind Power project (250 MW) that is scheduled to be commissioned end 2019.
With global references in areas such as security (CCTV), cold networks or green mobility, ENGIE is also developing its service activities related to facilities management and energy efficiency and on solutions for smart cities.
ENGIE is also part of a Franco-Egyptian consortium that has been pre-selected for the facilities management of the Greater Cairo Museum and the adjoining complex.
